Holiday gift guide for nerds
Maximizing Black Friday goodies
Nerds,
I salute you from Miami, where everyone is thinking about turkeys and sweet potato casseroles.
That time of the year when it’s acceptable to wear turkey hats
3 very cool things happened this week:
1) Launched my new personal website (!!!). This one had been on my to-do list for a very long time, so feels good to have it out. Feedback always welcomed!
2) Enrolled in a hot yoga teacher training starting January 2025 (!!!).
3) We locked in the new branding for Adult Camp and it’s looking exactly what we dreamed of. More on this soon!
Although spending time with loved ones is the best gift, thought I’d share what I’m looking at this Black Friday juuuuuust in case!
holiday gift ideas
personal goodies 🎁
For the friend who is always talking about journaling: Freewrite is a digital, e-ink typewriter that syncs your writing with your computer so you get the best of both worlds.
For the millennial: this one is a game changer for anyone who, like me, hadn’t really used skin care until my late 20s. Jess Beauty is a vegan, korean, skin care brand suited for all skin types. Bye to black pores, acne, stains, and wrinkles!
For the yogui: best mat on the market if you ask me. My practice became 2x stronger after using this Manduka PRO 6mm’ mat consistently.
For the messy traveler: nothing like a nice jewelry box to store your accessories and make your life easier while traveling.
For the digital nomad: these Away packing cubes make packing and unpacking a breeze! It’s as if you’re traveling with shelves.
For the wedding hoppers: going to weddings means going to too many beauty salons. Save everyone time and money with a blower brush.
For the adventurers: tons of airlines are giving away discounts on flights. Rumor online has it that Dec 3rd is the best day to get good prices!
For the music addicts: I’ve always been a “cheap earphones” kinda girl, until I was gifted the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones and 10x’d my productivity.
For the empowered millennial latina woman: this cohort-based course was a big rebirth for me this 2024. Recommended for anyone looking to connect deeper with the power of being a woman in today’s world.
house items 🏡
For the friend who’s stylish but always late: a cute retro clock from the MoMa Design Store.
For the candle lovers: art deco stye candle vases pair for the home.
For the newlyweds who love to host: the hippest (and supposedly smartest) fridge on the market.
For the book junkies: a personalized book embosser, so stamps ensure no one steals their books again.
For the remote workers: this portable screen means you always get the office of your dreams no matter where you are.
subscriptions 👩🏻💻
For the health nerds: gift Superpower - a comprehensive, all-in-one health membership with access to over 500 biomarker tests, a personal concierge, and an annual roadmap of what to do next.
For the content creators: Hypefury is a cross-platform scheduler which algorithmically analyzes when is the most likely time your posts will go viral.
For the writers: gift the annual plan of Beehiiv, which enables creators to scale through their in-platform monetization features.
For the bloggers: I would have never paid for Grammarly until my company sponsored it and I realized how bad my grammar actually was. Recommended for anyone writing professionally.
For the aspiring designers: the entire Adobe Creative Cloud is 50% off. Need I say more?
Happy holidays friends!
Let me know if you get any good deals I may have missed or any feedback you may have from my new website.
Always excited to hear back from you.
See you on cyberspace,
Jules 🤸🏻
